Scania fault code 1290

Code 1290 is used by 2 different Scania systems. Choose the control unit shown in your diagnostic tool:

TMS Transmission Management System Solenoid valve for 1st gear, short circuit Short circuit to earth in the solenoid valve cable harness. If the fault code is also set for the 3rd gear solenoid valve, it may be the 3rd gear solenoid valve which is faulty.
